Gail S. Mears, 58, of near Georgetown, Del., passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at home. A homemaker, she loved to read, craft ceramics and spend time being close with her family.
Mears was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Littleton. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Earl S. Mears; her mother, Catherine Williams Littleton of Berlin, Md.; four children, Cheryl Joseph of Gumboro, Del., William Wells, also of Gumboro, Jamie Wells and his wife, Jill, of Dagsboro, Del., and Jared Mears and his wife, Lisa, of La Plata, Md.; four sisters, Darlene Collins of Clarksville, Del., Donie Hitchens of Gumboro, Berrie Bostic of Whaleyville, Md., and Tammy Jarmon of Ocean Pines, Md.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, with interment in Millsboro Cemetery, Millsboro, Del.
