The 1st Annual Jake’s Seafood House Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 20, at the Marsh Island Golf Club to benefit The Wellness Community-Delaware. Enjoy fabulous prizes, a buffet luncheon and drinks afterward at Jakes’ Seafood House on Route 1, Rehoboth Beach. Golfers may register to play for $60 per person, including green’s fees and cart. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. for registration, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. There will be guaranteed prizes awarded, as well as auction and raffle items. The Wellness Community-Delaware is part of a national nonprofit organization that provides support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope, regardless of the stage of disease.
