Milda I. Berzins, 103, of Ocean View, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Green Valley Terrace Nursing Home in Millsboro.
She was born in Riga, Latvia. Milda was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm raising chickens and working hard her whole life.
She is survived by two sons, Valdis Berzins and Modris “Morris” Berzins and his wife, Nancy; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolfs Berzins, in 2001.
Funeral services were scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4, at 3 p.m. at the Bethany chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue in Ocean View. Burial will be private.
