The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is alerting motorists that the road closure of Roxanna Road (Route 17) between Bixler Road and Phillips Road between Roxana and Selbyville has been extended until Sunday, Feb. 24, due to weather conditions. The road will re-open at 6 p.m. or sooner on Sunday, Feb. 24, officials said. DelDOT’s maintenance crews are removing and replacing crossroad pipes.
Local access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.
Motorists are being advised to use the posted detour routes. Traffic alerts and traveler information are available at www.deldot.gov or motorists can tune to WTMC-AM 1380.
